The John Fisher School is delighted to be a part of the Purley Business Improvement District (Purley B.I.D) as progress is made on improving different aspects of Purley.
How has JFS been involved?
Since it started, John Fisher has been involved in the collection of market research. To do this, BTEC Business students in Year 13 collect responses to surveys before creating a presentation to the Purley B.I.D Board. The student's gain a vital insight into the whole concept but can also deliver very insightful suggestions.
We are delighted to have recently been asked to transform the derelict building which used to be 'My Old China' as you enter Purley. Art students, led by the Art department, will be converting this into a beautiful collage over the coming months. We also have over 100m of art work on the sky scraper building site in the heart of Purley. This is truly amazing to see and a real accolade for the many students who have their work on display.
