Working with Local Primary Schools

The John Fisher School has a rich tradition of working with local primary schools. This is in many different formats, whether it is coaching sport, teaching about Fairtrade or some of our staff sharing best practice with the Year 6 teachers. John Fisher is firmly committed to working with its local community and sharing its experience and expertise with others.

Most recently, our Year 12/13 BTEC Sports students helped to run the Sutton Primary Schools Cross Country competition. Hosted by John Fisher, over 450 local students took part and our students received a letter of thanks from organisers St. Josephs Jnr School.

Our students are often working with local primary schools to support them in areas such as Fairtrade assemblies, nutrition and helping run sports day.
