The John Fisher School subscribes to a philosophy of continuous improvement and recognises the important role that external bodies can play in this process.
In addition to the Ofsted Inspection that all state schools undergo, a Section 48 Inspection is also carried out at The John Fisher School, which looks at the Faith elements of our practise.
As a school we play an active role in the Sutton Alliance Review programme. This iniative involves schools offering support to each other through a two day review process. We underwent our first review in October 2016 and a number of staff have been able to gain experience and share our good practice when reviewing other local schools.
At The John Fisher School we also look to validate and enhance our practice at all levels - indeed our must recent review focused on the important role that Governors play in the every day running of the school and delivering the key strategic goals.
