Junior Maths Challenge – Promising Maths Stars!

On 28th April, two Maths groups from Years 7 and 8 took part in the annual Junior UK Maths Challenge where participants were required to complete an hour long test comprising of 25 questions.

The results have now been received - our students achieved an excellent set of results with gold certificates awarded to 4 boys and 27 certificates awarded in total.

Daniel Fernandes-Bonnar in Year 8 achieved the Best in School Award with 99 points and Matthew Chance in Year 7 achieved Best in Year with 66 points.

Daniel will join other high-scoring participants in the next stage of the competition known as the Junior European Kangaroo.
