The John Fisher School

Extended Schools Programme 2016 - 2017

The Extended Schools Programme at The John Fisher School forms a key element of our Sixth Form curriculum. The programme provides a range of activities designed to:

  • Extend your education and personal growth beyond the academic.
  • Enable you to develop your personal, sporting and social interests.
  • Help support your career aspirations by gaining relevant experience.
  • Help you to realise your potential and develop new interests.

In order to get the most out of the programme, students are encouraged to participate in a range of activities across the year, both in group situations and as individuals. These additional experiences enhance the impression students give to future employers and are extremely valuable when applying to Higher Education establishments and on a UCAS application.

Crucially, enrichment is an opportunity to have fun!

However, if you have any questions, please ask your Form Tutor or one of our Sixth Form Leadership Team.
