Established in 1997 with the merger of Purley RFC and John Fisher Old Boys RFC, Purley John Fisher RFC prides itself in being one of the most successful and sociable rugby clubs in Surrey. The club is based in
Old Coulsdon with good transport links from London, Croydon and Purley via road, train and bus routes. The Club has two full size rugby pitches, training floodlights, and a fully licensed clubhouse with a function room, Presidents lounge and two bars.
The club is predominately comprised from players from the local area, combined and supported by the club’s youth development efforts in conjunction with The John Fisher School in Purley, Riddlesdown School and Oasis Academy. Our school is keen to encourage John Fisher boys who wish to continue playing rugby when they leave school to make contact with Purley John Fisher RFC.
